Sr. Solutions Specialist - Portals and Collaboration

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is the following:

Design, implement and test SharePoint Server solutions in either a mentoring or team engagement model. Work with other members of the team to ensure successful delivery that exceeds client expectations. Adheres and contributes to AJI standards and best practices (documentation, testing, version control, coding standards, build, etc.) with a flexible and great attitude. Eager to both explore on your own and mentor others to ultimately strengthen the team and yourself. Can solve problems, explore alternatives, initiate tasks and communicate status, with or without direction.

You need to be an experienced C# and VB.Net developer with at least 5 years of experience working on SharePoint development in a team environment. Preference given to those candidates with both SharePoint 2007 and 2010 experience.

Demonstrable experience with:

Extensive knowledge of SharePoint 2010 out-of-the-box features
SharePoint Designer 2010
SharePoint CSS and Javascript files and classes
Web standards including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, JSON, and REST
Branding
Understanding of the SharePoint hive
ECM
Business Connectivity Services and External Content Type development
Designing and implementing a SharePoint deployment architecture
Visual Studio 2010 SharePoint 2010 development
InfoPath 2010
SharePoint deployment process and related functionality
SQL Server Reporting Services integration with SharePoint 2010
SQL Server 2005 and 2008/R2
Excellent written and verbal communication

Desired but not required:

Scrum Experience
Application Lifecycle Management concepts and methodology Experience
Team Foundation Server Experience
Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
Involvement in local user communities is a plus
