Communities
As a Kansas City based company, we realize the value of being part of the communities that bring professionals together to share knowledge. AJI Software has been a part of most local communities for over 10 years and we continue to support these communities in a leadership and presenting capacity. Here is a list of a few communities we work with:
Kansas City .NET User Group
The Kansas City .NET User Group, who meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month at Centriq Training, is an group of passionate developers who want to learn about new technologies introduced by Microsoft, vendors, and community members. Each month members of the group with present on a topic of interest to them and the community. Typically dinner is sponsored by various companies in Kansas City who see the value of these developer meetings. For more information, visit http://kcdnug.com
GeekLunch
GeekLunch was started by AJI Software as a way to reach out to the typical developer who doesn't have enough time in the month to visit the user groups that meet in the evenings. These developers typically even find it difficult to get out during the morning or afternoon sessions held by other user groups. With GeekLunch, we provide two sessions and lunch, once a quarter, to allow developers and other IT professionals and managers the ability to dig deeping into a topic, while keeping an eye on their time away from the office. We meet from 10:00am to 1:00pm to allow for developers to take a slightly longer lunch than normal, but come back with a head full of ideas on how their companies can adopt the technologies we discuss. We currently hold our meetings at the local Microsoft office in Corporate Woods to facilitate with the diverse locations of most developers during the day.
