For many companies, she is the go-to expert on integrated marketing, inbound marketing, marketing automation, email marketing, CRM, demand generation/lead generation and loyalty programs. She has written more than 300 successful nurture marketing campaigns for both B2B and B2C companies.
She is a 30-year veteran of direct marketing and is a recipient of the prestigious Direct Marketer of the Year Award. Her company’s newsletter, “The Database Marketing Hotwire,” is a three-time recipient of the APEX Award for Newsletter Writing Excellence. Her clients include Att, Bank of America, Yellow Freight and Anthem and Lori has been published on the AMEX Small Business Blog and in books on Google AdWords and database marketing.
While MDMC has provided the opportunity for people like Jeff and Lori to be introduced, exchange ideas about how the world of digital marketing is changes, and predict where it will go, according to Lori, it’s also a great place to see the “incubator stuff” and “have a finger on the pulse” of what’s up and coming in the industry.
During her conversation with Jeff they discuss the pitfalls and successes of marketing automation, the relevance of email in marketing, as well as who should jump in the game, and how to get started. She also reminded us that being the smartest person in the room is only 50% of the equation, because the universe has an opinion and it will come back at you with you, so brace yourselves for flexibility.
